double crochet (UK)
dc
Created by inserting your hook, yarn over and pull through, yarn over and pull through two loops.
2 x double crochet
2dc
Created by working two full double crochets into the same stitch, usually resulting in an increase of stitches.
double crochet two together
dc2tog
Created by completing one full double crochet, across 2 stitches often resulting in a decrease.
front loop only
FLO
Working into the front loop only of a stitch
back loop only
BLO
Working into the back loop only of a stitch
popcorn stitch

Complete 5 x half-finished treble crochets into the same stitch, until you have 6 loops on your hook, yarn over and pull through the loops.
bobble stitch

Complete 3 x half-finished treble crochets into the same stitch, until you have 4 loops on your hook, yarn over and pull through the loops to form a 'bobble'
foundation chain
